The Four Seasons
The Bondar family lives in a village near Cherkasy. Every season brings them something new.
In spring the garden wakes up. Mum plants tomatoes and cucumbers, and the children help her. The days become longer and warmer.
Summer is the hottest season. The family often swims in the river and eats fruit from the garden. Last summer they went to the Carpathians for a week and climbed Hoverla, the highest mountain in Ukraine.
Autumn is busier than summer. Dad collects apples, and Mum makes jam for the winter. It often rains, but the forest looks golden and beautiful.
Winter is the coldest time of the year. The children skate on the lake and make snowmen. Next winter the family is going to visit Lviv and see its Christmas market.
